Once Teammates Wrestler Bill Goldberg And Deion Sanders Reunite At Colorado Through Goldbergs Son

Once Teammates, Wrestler Bill Goldberg And Deion Sanders Reunite At Colorado Through Goldberg's Son

A Former Dynamic Duo Rekindles Their Bond

Bill Goldberg and Deion Sanders were once teammates on the Atlanta Falcons in the 1990s. Now, their sons are teammates at the University of Colorado.

Goldberg's son, Gage, is a freshman defensive lineman for the Buffaloes. Sanders' son, Shilo, is a sophomore cornerback.

The two fathers are excited to see their sons play together.

"It's a dream come true," Goldberg said. "I've always wanted to see my son play college football, and now he's playing with the son of one of my best friends."

"It's a great feeling," Sanders said. "I'm proud of both of my sons, and I'm excited to see what they can accomplish together."

Gage Goldberg and Shilo Sanders are both talented players. Gage Goldberg was a four-star recruit out of high school, and Shilo Sanders was a three-star recruit.

Both players are expected to contribute to the Buffaloes this season.

"They're both hard workers," Goldberg said. "They're both going to do great things."

"They're both leaders," Sanders said. "They're both going to be successful."

The Buffaloes are hoping that Gage Goldberg and Shilo Sanders can help them return to prominence.

Colorado has not won a bowl game since 2004, and they have not won a conference championship since 2001.

The Buffaloes are hoping that the addition of Gage Goldberg and Shilo Sanders can help them turn things around.

"They're both going to be big contributors," Colorado coach Karl Dorrell said. "They're both going to help us win games."
